Subjective and objective assessments including static and dynamic observations
Clinical reasoning forms the basis of this evaluation process and is based on knowledge of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics. The process includes detailed discussion of life events, past injuries, home management and exercise routines. Laura has specialised knowledge of exercise programming as this was her expertise in her Masters research. A thorough clinical examination of static and dynamic movement (sometimes inclusive of exercise observations) and a neurological examination.

Please allow 90 minutes to an hour for treatment.
Follow-up appointments are all sessions after the initial assessment which include treatments and advice towards reaching defined and set goals. A follow-up appointment lasts 30-60 minutes and is 100% treatment after a quick review of progress since the last appointment.
The length of time between sessions will be determined by the physiotherapist and discussed with you along the way. The type of problems your animal may have and how your animal responds to treatment defines how many sessions you will need.
We offer discounted rates as part of session bundles. These are usually appropriate as part of a structured rehabilitation programme. Please ask a member of the team to find out more.
